The importance of employee loyalty in the Aviation Industry inspired this brand to start an Employee Benefit Program

It made all the difference in times of staff shortages, high recruitment fees and Gen Z’s drive for real connections.

The Program Challenge

Keeping the best employees happy and connected with the company through a combination of listening, rewards and appreciation, information and exclusive benefits. Promoting referrals to recruit staff with higher precision and lower costs.

Our Approach

Brand2Consumers worked together with the HR-team and selected employees to guarantee optimal connection with the company culture and the program goals.

First, we defined the hard and soft goals and evaluated earlier hits and misses to leearn from. We benchmarked the existing performance to identify improvement areas. There were several with low-hanging fruit so we could deliver results fast and easily gain credibility with senior management and staff.

The program

The program offers a mix of tangible benefits and encouragements:

  • Employees gain access to a (mobile) portal with their benefits, preferences and status

  • Employees receive rewards on reaching hard and soft goals but also through team efforts and, customer feedback and surprise events

  • Rewards can be redeemed in a digital store for a large variety of gifts and privileges

  • We included interaction with family and friends to extend the circle of embedding company culture into the employees’ life

  • Employees can provide feedback, mood reports and send compliments to colleagues hich provides valuable data to HR on employee well being

 

The Results

The results brought impressive improvements in employee well being, recruitment and HR data. All targeted KPI’s improved with over 30% while recruitment costs decreased significantly and employee ratings improved beyond expectations.

Involving family & friends turned out to be a big hit: not only a higher understanding was achieved for the employee role and results, but also brand awarness and loyalty among this circle increased impressively; an unexpected positive side effect!
