A large Dutch Telecommunications Company approached us for a Referral Program with the ambition to quickly build the best brand ambassadors. We were asked to recruit customers, employees and influencers to promote the brand’s services and grow the customer base quickly and cost effective.

We helped to identify the most valuable shoppers and incentivize them with value, status, priveleges, offers and membership benefits.

We helped create extra value by bonding with the best customers by offering the most relevant rewards:

  • Points they can spend in the member giftshop with exclusive gifts

  • Coupons they can spend in the brand’s webshop, the member gift shop or with selected partners

  • (International) giftcards they appreciated as a valuable token of appreciation for a successful referral

  • Priveleges they can use to make their life more convenient or give them a higher status

Our Approach and Results

We know that 9 out of 10 customers trust peer recommendations; a much higher level than advertising can achieve. We used this bond of trust to help build new customers through existing customers/members. At a well-defined moment in their customer journey, we persuade them to invite friends, colleagues and family to join the program and purchase a service. We proved to bring in up to over 300% more loyal customers, all for a minimal marketing budget.

Our referral program provided the most impressive ROI of all marketing projects.
